Mechanical Design Engineer
Selangor - SHAH ALAM

Responsibilities:

• To manage, co-ordinate and advise on the accuracy of drawings of pressure refining equipments for construction, production and fabrication.
• Provide mechanical design calculation analysis for pressure refining equipments in accordance to the governing code and clients general specification.
• Design drawings and calculations based on client specification and standard and submits to Third Parties and relevant authorities for review and approval.
• Check and distribute fabrication drawings internally for review and approval.
• Prepare and update the design engineers and drafters on Material Take Off (MTO) and cutting plans where required.
• Review and ensure the drafters’ design and drawings meet design calculation and client specification.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in the design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Familiar with using mechanical design softwares such as PVElite, AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Knowledge of pressure vessel, heat exchanger designs and relevant Code requirements such as ASME / TEMA & PD (BS).
• Knowledge of structure design with FEA will be an added advantage.
